About the artist:

Peter Smith has always been creative. Born in 1967 in the Nottinghamshire town of Mansfield, one of his earliest memories is of a Christmas present that would influence the rest of his life - A small book of black and white illustrations called "The Magic Painter", which came equipped with a brush but no paints. From the moment he realised that you painted by brushing water onto pages, making the colours appear as if by magic - he was hooked.
