Having spent the last 15 years developing his style, Paul Wright has become renowned across the globe for his intriguing portraits. "I seek to capture a vitality beyond the establishment of a mere ‘likeness’ to the subject," says Paul with his unique, bold style.

The british artist was born in Leicester in 1973 and trained to be an illustrator whilst obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration at Falmouth College of Art. Despite having a promising career ahead of him as an illustrator, Paul developed a unique oil painting style using expressive brushstrokes.
