In 1986 David Hockney created a series of prints titled Home Made Prints. Hockney has always been an artist to explore new technologies and methods in his creative journey, this at its time was a new approach to print making by using an office photocopier. With this new technology he could create images with efficiency and speed often changing coloured ink cartridges and reducing or enlarging images and using multiple sheets to create one overall image.
