In 1986 David Hockney created a series of prints titled Home Made Prints. Always one to explore a new methods in his artistic journey this at its time was a new approach to print making by using and office photocopier. Hockney could create images with efficiency and speed by changing coloured ink cartridges and reducing or enlarging images and using multiple sheets to create one overall image. This piece, Black Plant on Table, April 1986, is created from 6 sheets of acid free paper each measuring 27.94 x 21.59cm.
