Artmarkets Impossimal Evening at The Pipe and Glass Inn

Artmarkets Impossimal Evening at The Pipe and Glass Inn

For the past few months Peter Smith has been working on a piece of art inspired by The Pipe and Glass Inn. The piece will feature two brand new Impossimals based on the owners of the Pipe And Glass, James and Kate Mackenzie and the history of the iconic Inn. We have seen the maquette and preparatory sketches, and it looks incredible! This piece of art will be exclusive to the Artmarket Gallery and will be revealed on the night!

On the evening you will be greeted with drinks and canapés before a private viewing of Peter’s art, and a chance to talk all things Impossimal with Peter and Jayne Smith! If you have not met them before - you are in for a real treat!Michelin starred chef James Mackenzie will then invite us to take our seats for the four course meal designed exclusively for the evening.

The Pipe and Glass Inn was awarded East Yorkshire’s first and only Michelin star in 2010, and has retained it ever since. The Good Pub Guide awarded the Pipe and Glass, ‘National Dining Pub of the Year, 2015’ so you are in for a culinary delight!

Throughout the night the specially commissioned artwork will be unveiled, there will be talks from Peter and James, a chance to chat with them both, a live sketch, charity auction and a few surprises along the way! This is a going to be a truly wonderful evening, a dinner with a difference! Following on from the overwhelming success of our similar event with Bob Barkerlast year, this is set to be a fabulous night!

The event is Thursday 21st May 2015. This is ticket only event and places are extremely limited, so please get in touch ASAP to book your tickets. Tickets are £65 per head. For those coming from further afield we can recommend accommodation.
