Yorkshire-based David Kirk's love of oil painting started in his teens. It has taken many years for David to take the decision to become a professional artist. David's work varies from strongly enriched colour landscapes to mono-style cityscapes. Inspiration comes from a wide variety of sources and David says that each of the styles he develops tends to evolve from several ideas. He learns from old masters to contemporary artists but his quest is always for something extra special.
